Novice Category

Alan is an engineer from Calgary and is a fairly new chainsaw carver. Most of his work has been masks or faces. He is hoping to improve his skills by carving and observing other carvers and pursue this hobby more over the coming years and in retirement. Alan won 1st place in the Novice Category with his carving, "Kingfisher".
