David Koenig 2009
The Challenge of Flight
Professional Category David Koenig
is a self taught artist from the Okanagan Valley. He has dabbled in several
mediums from graphite, watercolours, acrylics, bronze and wood sculpture to custom log
homes. He is presently designing and carving custom doors, entryways, fireplace mantles
and free standing sculptures for a variety of customers from wineries and businesses to
private homeowners. "My need to create art is my gift from all the beauty that surrounds
and constantly moves me".
2008 was David's first time in our competition and he won 1st place with Windy Point!
In 2009, David won 2nd place in the Professional Category.
