Gord began chainsaw carving in 2003 and has competed in Campbell River five times.  As a passionate chainsaw carver, he tries to find time to carve every weekend.  He also competes in Masset, Quesnel, Vanderhoof and Chetwynd.  His 2009 carving is "Spirit of the River".
