Amateur Category

Vinay Chafekar hales from Quadra Island. His 2008 carving, "RRRead It, RRRead It" was his fifth carving ever and he won 1st place in the Amateur Category and $700. His 2008 carving is on display in the Quadra Island Library. His 2009 carving is entitled, "Chores, Chores, Chores, No Time to Read".
