Amateur Category

Wilfred Zirk was raised on the Mainland and moved to Port Alberni with his family in 2002.  He enjoys painting, fishing and carving for fun.  We love having Wilfred at the competition, and his wife Kellie is a great help! His colorful characters can be seen around town. His 2009 carving, "So Many Cookies, So Little Time" is a delight!
